Stoked to have our dear friend Dawn Yanagihara present her art at the SoHiTek Gallery tomorrow. As always, our shop will be open, with not only SoHiTek Records releases available, but other work from other Portland bands and artists.
R.S. Delucco is a Seattle based artist who has been very active in the northwest. He is the art editor of Poor Claudia and has designed album artwork for bands like Typhoon, and SoHiTek’s own Pocketknife. Right now, SoHiTek Gallery is hosting a collection of concert posters which Mr. Delucco has designed for the past 7 years. Come by and sneak a peak!
Thats so much alliteration! Super talented friend, Scott Schaus had his debut at the SoHiTek Gallery last night, and it was epic. Awesome music by The Secret Whistle, and all in all a good time. Come by SoHiTek on Saturday between 12 and 6 to see his show, and perhaps pick up some great local records!
Oct 6th! Mark your calendars, that will be the opening of the SoHiTek Gallery. We are opening with a bang, a show of hand made wooden Yo-Yos, designed by TMBR Toys, and elaborated upon by 30 local artists! A show by Port St. Willow! A shelf full of local records and music related goods! We’re so excited, and we think you should be too. After that, the SoHiTek Gallery will be open from 10 – 2 Wednesday thru Friday, and Saturday 12 – 6. If you are a local band, bring your album by, we’d love to sell it!
